Main objectives:

Decrease of import dependency. Better balancing capacity.

Short description:

The project would enable a new, high efficiency, gas based capacity to enter the Hungarian energy supply system. This power plant is capable of generating power from multiple streams of work and also be part of the regulatory process. The CCGT Power Plant would be able to handle the situations of lack of capacity and the same time would provide the flexibility necessary for the integration of renewable energy. It could also contribute the decrease of power import. The timescale of the investment would be 5 years.
