Main objectives:

Increase capacity of Croatian-Slovenian and Croatian-Hungarian gas interconnections

Short description:

The main LNG transmission gas pipeline Zlobin-Bosiljevo-Sisak-Kozarac-Slobodnica will be connected to the LNG terminal on the island of Krk. The pipeline is a continuation of the Hungarian-Croatian interconnection gas pipeline Varosföld-Dravaszerdahely-Donji Miholjac-Slobodnica. The project also entails connecting the pipeline to the future Ionian-Adriatic Pipeline. The first phase, the Bosiljevo-Sisak and Sisak-Kozarac Pipelines (DN800/100 bar, 122 km long) will allow for an increase of 200.000 m3/h (total 3,5 bn m3/year) and gas transmission towards Slovenia. The second phase, Kozarac-Slobodnica (DN800/75 bar, 128 km long) will increase the capacity of the Croatia-Hungary gas interconnection to over 700.000 m3/h (over 6,1 bn m3/year).
