Completion of the Ionian-Adriatic Motorway (Croatian Section)

In order to complete the Croatian section of the Ionian-Adriatic Corridor (spanning from the Croatian-Slovenian border to Dubrovnik), the project entails constructing the following motorway sections:
the northern part – A7 Motorway, Križišće-Žuta Lokva Section (56.4 km long)
the southern part – A1 Motorway, Metković – Dubrovnik Sector (47 km long)
The northern part of the Ionian-Adriatic Corridor from Križišće to Žuta Lokva is further divided into the following sections of the motorway:
• Križišće – Selce (18.7 km long, 350 mil. €) – Currently, project documentation is being prepared, while construction permits are being obtained. The construction is planned to begin in the spring of 2024.
• Selce – Novi Vinodolski (6.5 km long, 150 mil. €) – the construction of the first section is in progress. A tender is planned to be launched by the end of 2024.
• Novi Vinodolski – Senj (16.2 km long, 292 mil. €) – Currently, project documentation is being prepared. The construction is planned to begin in 2026.
• Senj – Žuta Lokva (15 km long, 270 mil €) – public procurement for project documentation will be announced by the end of 2024. The construction is planned to begin in 2026.
The southern part of the Ionian-Adriatic Corridor from Metković to Dubrovnik consists of two sections of the motorway:
• Metković – Pelješac (18.4 km long, 644 mil. €) – Currently, an environmental impact assessment procedure is taking place. The construction is planned to begin in 2026.
• Rudine – Osojnik (Dubrovnik) (28.6 km long, 816 mil. €) – Currently, while construction permits are being obtained. The construction is planned to begin in the spring of 2024.
