Development of a Cloud for Artificial Intelligence processing - AI CLOUD

The investment will consist in implementing a specialized Cloud for Artificial Intelligence (AI) processing. This includes the construction of buildings to house the necessary infrastructure, the acquisition of specialized IT&C equipment to ensure graphic processing power (specially designed to handle large amounts of data in parallel) and optimal processing, the acquisition of necessary software infrastructure for Cloud operation, and for running AI-based software programs and data models. Artificial intelligence is one of the fields experiencing significant economic growth and having a significant impact in all industries, thus becoming crucial for regional competitiveness and the economy. A dedicated Cloud infrastructure for AI software and algorithms will bring multiple benefits to the 3SI member states in line with the Initiatives’ objectives. Around this infrastructure, the Three Seas Initiative countries could develop other initiatives with an impact on the region, such as a business accelerator for AI, a research center of excellence in AI, AI-based solutions for the energy sector, road infrastructure, and public services. Key customers include government institutions with applications running in the Government Cloud, public institutions outside governmental cloud platforms, enterprises, research institutions, and universities. Potential customers can come from anywhere in the world, with no geographical limitations.
