Development of serial production of electric buses:
Factory construction;
Acquisition of production equipment;
Staff training;
Installation of robotic production lines.
Establishment of Dancer bus service centers in European cities with the highest Dancer bus sales.
The team of highly qualified engineers and business developers of the "Vėjo projektai" group of companies has developed a completely new, light electric bus concept.
In order to maximize the application of the principles of the circular economy in the production process, bus body is made of composite materials that include recycled PET bottles. Due to the longevity of this composite material, the bus body is expected to be reused - it will be recycled and retrofitted for the new buses. Even used batteries will be refurbished to store electricity in the wind farms.
Prototype development and commercialization took over 9 years. The pilot bus was assembled in 2018. The very first two Dancer electric buses, assembled in 2020, were acquired by the Klaipėda municipality-owned operator. These buses have been in operation for a year and a half and during this time have proven that meets the highest requirements for public transport.
Now the company is ready to launch full-scale production.
A construction of large-scale serial production facility scheduled for 2023. The project would include construction of the plant and the complete installation with robotic production lines capable of assembling one bus per day each.
