Development of the TEN-T North Sea - Baltic corridor with the reconstruction and construction of a 1435 mm gauge track on the territory of Ukraine

The updated indicative TEN-T maps provide for the expansion of the network to the territory of Ukraine and Moldova with the extension of the TEN-T North Sea - Baltic corridor through Lviv and Kovel to Kyiv, and further to Kharkiv and Mariupol.
The development of the TEN-T North Sea - Baltic corridor through the extension of a 1435 mm gauge track on the territory of Ukraine will contribute to the expansion of transport corridors and the movement of goods and services between the EU countries, in particular the Baltic countries and Poland, and Ukraine.

State border – Yagodin – Kovel (66 km): the feasibility study of the project has been developed, the development of project documentation is provided for in the framework of CEF Call 2022.
State border - Mostyska II
- Sknyliv (Lviv) (81 km): feasibility study and project documentation have been developed, preparations for the 1st stage of reconstruction are underway.

State border - Yagodin – Kovel (66 km ) : project documentation development (2.5 million euros) received, co-financing (50%) within the framework of CEF Call 2022.
Need for financing: EUR 246 million
State border - Mostyska II - Sknyliv (Lviv): it is expected that 200 million dollars will be financed by USAID.
Need for financing: EUR 206 million
Need for financing for the design and reconstruction of other areas (with extension to Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol): EUR 9,441 million
