Main objectives:

GRIDStor project features the stationary storage of electricity, bipolar batteries based on sodium and potassium

· Developing an economically efficient scalable stationary battery system for storing electricity based on Na-ion

· Key technologies for the development and subsequent production of NaK-ion batteries

· Production of experimental coin-cell batteries for testing / validation and subsequent IP strategy

· Development of several use cases for the deployment of stationary batteries

· Preparation of GRIDstor pilot production project for batteries for future deployment of stationary batteries .

Short description:

· Renewable energy promises to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. However, their performance is fluctuating and weather dependent, so it is necessary to add energy storage modules to this production.

· The wind and photovoltaic power plants associated with GRIDStor energy storage systems will have two main functions, the local department for the production and consumption of renewable energy.

· The energy consumed at the place where it was produced is a clear idea for small locally connected solar / wind farms. These energy storage systems will reduce network load, especially when peak energy is required, thus reducing the need for network expansion.
