Main objectives:

The main aim of the project is to create a transport corridor from the Northern part of Europe to the South through the Republic of Lithuania, Republic of Poland, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Romania, Republic of Bulgaria, and Hellenic Republic (Greece

Short description:

The Via Carpatia transport corridor will be a new highway connection between Northern and Southern Europe, integrating the transport systems of the participating countries.

    Budget:

    On the Romanian territory the section between Oradea - Clafat – Vidin Bridge the esitamed budget is about 2.8 bill. Euro, for the section between Bors – Constanta the estimated budget is about 6.6 bill. Euro and for the section between Siret – Giurgiulesti the estimated budget is about 1.6 bill. Euro. The most of works will be financed through EU funds and the rest through Public-Private Partnership mechanism.
