Upgrade of the Rijeka Port infrastructure – construction and equipping of a grain storage facility

The project entails the construction of a storage facility for all types of grain, with the capacity of 30,000 tons, and the procurement and installation of transport equipment for loading and unloading of a grain facility with the capacity of 400 t/h, as well as a transloading vessel for loading and unloading ships with the capacity of 400/600 t/h.

The equipment is planned to be financed with funds from the CEF in the amount of 10.7 mil €, while the remaining 3.3 mil € is planned to be financed with the Port Authority's own funds.
The construction of the storage facility in the amount of 6 mil € is planned to be financed entirely with the Port Authority's own funds.
The project is in the CEF’s application phase – the decision on financing in expected in June 2024.
