Main objectives:

· Significant needs in building motorways and expressways.

· Completion of PL and HU projects will drive need to complete SK section as a part of Via Carpatia.

· Political priority for V4 countries.

· Construction of long section will provide opportunities for a maintenance section and alternative for concessionaires.

Short description:

· Project is situated in the north-eastern part of Slovakia.

· Connection from PL border to Presov in total length 55 km.

· Various stages of development in individual sections – 8 parts of which 3 have territorial documentation, 4 have EIA, 1 part Ladomirova to Hunkovce have Building Permit Documentation.

· Various priority in terms of value for money and old CBA results.

· Consideration for PPP structure.
